My career spans more than 18 years across brand identity, campaigns, and design systems, working with teams in healthcare and biotech, fashion and lifestyle, technology, and editorial.

I began my career in Europe, where I developed a strong foundation in typography, composition, and editorial thinking before moving to the U.S. That transatlantic path shaped how I work today, combining structure and rigor with adaptability and speed.

Alongside my commercial work, I maintain an active studio practice as a visual artist. My art explores structure, mapping, and emotional systems, themes that deeply inform how I approach design (halaburda.com).
This practice sharpens my sensitivity to rhythm, hierarchy, and narrative, and it influences how I think about visual systems at scale. It allows me to approach brand work with a broader perspective, balancing intuition with intention, and ensuring that visual decisions carry meaning rather than decoration.
